Available for Presentations

Did you know that Maggie Takes Pix is available for speaking engagements? I’m currently offering four topics of varying lengths and formats.

  1. "The Importance of a Photograph" is a TED-like talk that dives into why someone should be photographed by a professional - regularly. It’s personal. It’s emotional. It’s motivating. It’s about 20 minutes long.
  2. Everyone has a personal brand (read: reputation), whether they have crafted it themselves or someone has crafted it for them. "Personal Branding 101" can be presented as a 10-minute high-level introduction or as a 45-minute presentation or breakout session that covers how to show up the way you want to be seen. It can also be structured as a full day workshop that dives even deeper into branding strategies.
  3. "Looking Good in Pix" can be offered as a 10-minute introduction to help the camera-shy or a 45-minute presentation or breakout session that touches on everything from what to wear, lighting, posing for individuals and groups, and even how to take better selfies.
  4. Want a blend of all three topics? "Overcoming Blocks to Visibility" covers a bit of everything. Designed as a 30-minute presentation, there is an optional workshop component to add more practical value that brings the "run time" to about 50 minutes.

So, what makes me qualified to lead these sessions? In brief, I have the education (a BA in Journalism, an MBA, and tons of continuing education), experience (practical practice both in my own business and by helping others), and ability (former middle and high school teacher, as well as adult trainer).

If you are looking for someone to speak to your group, please give me a call. Let's chat about what would be most engaging for them.
